Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office to Highlight Local Food Producers at TASTE

Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office is inviting 20 Kildare-based food and beverage producers to join them at Taste of Kildare.

The 2024 Taste of Kildare Festival is taking place over 3 days from Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd September at Naas Racecourse, Co. Kildare.  The 2024 festival will bring together a fresh blend of dining experiences, markets, mixology, produce, producers, heritage, storytelling and entertainment – a foodie’s heaven.

The Local Enterprise Office are offering a limited number of food and beverage producers the opportunity to take part in the Local Enterprise trade area at Taste of Kildare. This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to be positioned in a dedicated and curated indoor space showcasing local brands to thousands of attendees celebrating the rich tastes of our county.

In 2018, the inaugural Taste of Kildare Festival at The K Club attracted over 3,500 visitors. Following 2018, the 2022 Festival was held in The Curragh Racecourse, during the Autumn racing festival, with a combined attendance of over 15,000 visitors. Previous years have seen everything from artisan bakers to craft brewers.

This year’s event will feature a dynamic lineup of activities, including live cooking demonstrations, tastings, workshops, and entertainment, all designed to highlight the rich culinary heritage and innovation within our community.

Jacqui McNabb, Head of Enterprise, Tourism and Economic Development, Kildare County Council said: "Taste of Kildare is an unparalleled opportunity for food businesses to connect with a wide audience of food enthusiasts and local residents. This event is a testament to the incredible talent and diversity within Kildare's food scene, and we encourage all food businesses to get involved and share their passion with our attendees. Our clients will gain exposure to thousands of attendees and media coverage, they will connect with new partners and customers, and we will continue to work together to promote Kildare as a top food destination.”

The cost of stands are €150 per business for the 3-day event, which are highly subsidised by the Local Enterprise Office. The team in the Local Enterprise Office will work closely with those selected for this curated space, to ensure that they are exhibition ready, can maximise this opportunity and will lead on a unique PR plan for the group.

Led by Into Kildare, the highly anticipated Taste of Kildare is promising an even more spectacular culinary celebration.

Applications can be made online via https://submit.link/2EU and the closing date is 26th July.
